Intelligent Carb Juggler is a product of Intelligent Carb Juggler, a software company registered in Germany. We build tools to help people manage diabetes more effectively. When we refer to "we," "us," or "our" in this policy, we mean Intelligent Carb Juggler.

We collect the following categories of personal data:

• Account information: email address, name, and password hash
• Health data: food logs, glucose readings, weight entries, and nutrition data you choose to enter
• Device data: device type, operating system version, and app version for support purposes
• Usage data: features you use and how often, to improve the product

Health data from Apple HealthKit and Google Health Connect is read-only. We never write back to these platforms and never share that data with third parties.

We use your data to:

• Provide and operate the Intelligent Carb Juggler service
• Personalise your experience and show relevant content
• Send important service notifications and updates
• Improve our product based on aggregate usage patterns
• Respond to support requests

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

We share data only with service providers who help us operate the platform, including:

• Cloud infrastructure providers for data storage
• Analytics providers for aggregate usage insights

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel only.
